I brought my dog here for rehab post TPLO with Dr. Adams and Donelle. I was nothing short of impressed. My dog received the most thorough exam I've ever seen especially since she is reactive. Dr. Adams uses an evidence based practice- frequently referencing information from published papers she read and conferences she has attended. Both her and the technician Donelle were obviously well experienced. I appreciate the direct approach they take to answering questions and developing the treatment plan. I left every visit feeling confident in the next steps and that I had every question answered. They also went above and beyond by discussing canine nutrition, supplements, and weight loss tactics with me. Front office staff is kind and knowledgeable, definitely a well oiled machine. It was simple to get all my documentation to submit for insurance. This clinic is a great addition to Midland. If I lived in the area I would not hesitate to bring my dog here for her primary care and more.

Started taking our dogs here 8 months ago after getting high recommendations from several friends. We are so happy with the doctors and staff. One of our dogs has cancer and River Rock has made her treatment, medication refills and access to care extremely easy. When we make an appointment we are open to any Doctor with availability, they always get us in quickly, because of this our dogs have seen all doctors at River Rock and are we equally impressed and happy with any of them that we get an appointment with. Highly recommend!

Dr. Varner was great! They were able to squeeze us in last minute right before Christmas and took excellent care of Luna. Everything was explained clearly and patiently, which really put us at ease. We’re very grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and outstanding care Dr. Varner provided.

They were wonderful. I had a very sick dog and key vet was open. I called as a new patient and They got me right in and went above and beyond for my dog. The staff was lovely and very friendly. Also the clinic itself is super nice.overall a great experience.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Huff and the team at River Rock. She is the most compassionate, transparent, and trustworthy veterinarian I have ever encountered. I followed her from another practice because the care she provides is simply unmatched. Dr. Huff takes the time to explain every diagnosis thoroughly and never rushes through appointments. She’s honest about treatment options and costs, and what I appreciate most is that she always talks us through what she would do if she were in our shoes, caring for her own pet. That kind of empathy and clarity is both rare and invaluable. The entire staff at River Rock reflects the same standard of care—welcoming, compassionate, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful. When our cat was diagnosed with CKD, they didn’t just send us home with supplies, they taught us how to administer fluid treatment at home and made sure we were comfortable and confident doing it. Thanks to Dr. Huff and the entire River Rock Team, we’ve always felt support and compassion in caring for our pets. As long as she’s practicing, we won’t go anywhere else.
